Description

As Paul Paray is considered one of the greatest French conductors, you would think his recording of the Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique will be a hot seller. But for some reason, this disc is very rare in any pressing and greatly sought after. 

Record condition: EX+/EX+ (decent surface except for a light scuff causing 1/2 min muted clicks in the intro, otherwise NM-!)

Cover condition: EX+ (slight corner bump, otherwise solid)

Stampers: FR1/FR6 dark maroon pressing

Note: I'm a collector, not a dealer. The reason I'm selling is to downsize my collection. Every record I offer was hand-picked based on its merits on music, performance, and sonics (not necessarily in that order!).
