This auction is for the VERY HARD TO FIND Mercyful Fate LP simply entitled "LIVE". Printed in 1985 on S.O.S. Records (UK), this highly collectable and very limited edition LP contains songs from two separate concerts. Side one was recorded in Copenhagen (1981) and includes the songs Into the Coven, A Corpse Without Soul, Return of the Vampire and Nightmare. Side two was recorded at the Dynamo in Eindhoven on January 19, 1984 and includes the titles Doomed by the Living Dead, Black Masses, Curse of the Pharaohs, Evil and The Oath. There are some very unique and interesting versions of Mercyful Fate "classics" here! The album cover is in very good condition. There is some wear at the corners and along the spine, but really...nothing major. The vinyl is in great shape as well. I bought the album from another collector years ago and I've only listened to the record once. The album has also been kept in a protective sleeve since I acquired the LP. Considering the scarcity of the LP, this is truly a nice piece of Mercyful Fate history. Don't forget to check out my other King Diamond / Mercyful Fate auctions!
