Description
Mercyful Fate - Melissa Lp, original early first pressing on Megaforce records. Silver label MRI069. No UPC barcode on back cover. This is a rare and highly collectible version of this LP, especially in these conditions. The cover has only a couple minor flaws - the previous owner shipped it to me with the record inside the cover...before I got it, the cover was nearly perfect. When it arrived, it has the beginning of a split in the paper on top. I was so bummed. This is why I have always shipped records outside the covers, and I guess it was wrong of me to assume that everyone did it this way! But other than this minor flaw, the cover is in nearly perfect glossy condition. A minor scrape on the spine is the only other imperfection. See the pics for details, but this is still nicer than 90% of this version you see listed on eBay. The vinyl is also nearly perfect, with only one or two very minor faint marks. Plain original plastic inner sleeve. This is a very high end condition example of this early masterpiece of Mercyful Fate!
