Description

This vintage Merle Travis album titled FOLK SONGS OF THE HILLS has been played, but records are in very good condition.  Album shows a 1947 copyright date.  Cover shows some minor shelf wear.  Some of these vintage records have minor scratches which are characteristic.  Gloss on records & labels is excellent.  All recordings are on the Capitol label.  Songs included are 1) NINE POUND HAMMER & JOHN HENRY, # 48000,  2) THAT'S ALL & OVER BY NUMBER NINE, # 48002,  3) I AM A PILGRIM & MUSKRAT. 48003 &  4) DARK AS A DUNGEON & SIZTEEN TONS, # 480001.   I have listened to most of the records & all graded E- (Excellent).  All records are being sold in an "as found" condition.  Very nice selection of country/folk records to add to collection.
