You are looking at an original edition of the Mersey Beat paper for a Buy it Now or please make a Best Offer.

This edition showing the 'First Beatles Colourpic' headline, and the colour picture on the front page.  The inner pages are black and white.  This edition is from March 12-26th 1964. 16 pages in all.

This is one my father had delivered to his Liverpool address by the newsagents.  You will see that the address is written in pen along the side of the front page.

I have shown pictures of the condition, generally it is good considering it is 50 years old, but it does show signs of its age, wear and tear and some discolouration. Stored with other volumes with a slight crease through the front page, really not very noticeable and not a sharp crease.  This means it could be displayed nicely in a frame. Please note - the crossword has been partly completed on this one.

Beatles on the front page and inside too, also; Cilla Black, The Rolling Stones, The Mojos the chart of that week and so much more.

I would be sending this flat to avoid any damage.
