Metallica Jump In The Fire Red Vinyl with white label CV12 KUT 105. I bought this many years ago. The hand written sleeve says it's a white label promo, although i'm not sure of this. From my research I believe it's from the first set of pressings from Music for Nations in 1984 which had a white label on one side, although this has a white label on both sides. Who knows? Maybe it's the rarest Jump In the Fire record that exists! : ) The record is in pretty shabby condition. Using the below vinyl grading criteria i'd say it was poor, a segment of it is warped and there are several scratches although not deep. I still enjoyed this item in my collection, but I never played them so their condition didn't really interest me. I accept paypal only. Poor (P) A record in poor condition may be unplayable in that the vinyl may be cracked, warped, or have several deep scratches. The sleeve may be torn, split, badly creased or have been defaced or written on. The inner sleeves may be unoriginal or missing.
On 20-Oct-08 at 22:01:36 BST, seller added the following information:From the www.metallipromo.com site it states the white label version is CV12 KUT 105, which is why I described it as such. The inscription in the plastic around the white label reads:
Side A: MPO 12 KUT 105 A1 timtom
Side B: MPO 12 KUT 105 B1
I'm not aware if the 'CV' needs to be inscribed on the plastic for it to be CV12 KUT 105??
I can't find any documentation of a white label that exists with just 12 KUT 105, apart from a bootleg from Germany in 1992/3, although the red vinyl colour in the bootleg is a darker red and they don't have 'timtom' inscribed on them.
The red vinyl colour on this record is the correct shade and it does have 'timtom' inscribed.
Just a little more information for you... seems to be a fair few watchers! : )
