"Bang That Head That Doesn't Bang"
Here is a rare original MEGAFORCE Records pressing of Metallica's first record Kill 'Em All. Some of their best songs can be found on this record including Cliff Burton's epic bass solo! This is a classic thrash metal album and a great collector piece for fans of Metallica and the metal genre. The vinyl is etched MRI-069 (A and B) and also A-3 and A-5 (don't know what that references?). Released by Megaforce Records and distributed by important record distributors.
As far as condition:
Outer sleeve shows wear around edges, binding, sides and at corners - I've tried to show this is in the pictures. I've kept it in a plastic sleeve as long as I've owned it - not sure what was done before that but it was rightfully played!
The inner sleeve is a clear plastic. Not sure if that is original for this record.
The condition of the vinyl is really great for a record of this age that has been played. No deep scratches or scuffs that impact playback. No warping. I've done a basic cleaning of the vinyl and given it a few close listens - there is only one small section I've noticed with any noticeable pops/crackles and that is in the last bit of the song The Four Horsemen, starts at the last guitar solo on the outro and then the very beginning of Motor Breath. This short section does have some more audible pops and in looking at the vinyl this seems to be the only area with small visible scratches - there are 2 slight scratches, one about 1/2 inch, the other 1/4 inch, each is hairline. There are some spindle marks around the center hole.
Please ask any additional questions and I'm happy to help provide more info or images as needed.
