Metallica Kill Em All Vinyl Megaforce Records 1983 MRI 069 1st Edition


This is a first edition of Metallica - Kill ‘Em All on Megaforce Records from 1983. Played only a few times almost 40 years ago. Vinyl is in near perfect condition. Only a few faint scratch marks as seen in my photos. Record is in a poly sleeve, and cover is in original shrink wrap. I gave the vinyl an EX grading, but prob closer to a M-. You can be the judge :)


I use a ring light to highlight any noticeable scuffs or scratches in my vinyl auctions. Also helps to better highlight the runout etchings, which will indicate the exact version of the release.

Any orange/yellow artifacts are just light reflections from basement lighting.


I researched a few indicatiors that this is indeed a first edition -

1. Silver label with pressed indent ring

2. Large “Side Numbers” ie. “1” and “2”, next to the track listing.

3. No “track time” next to each song.

4. Initial pressings came with a “poly sleeve”. Later editions came with paper lyric sleeve, and merchandise sheet.
