Metallica - Metallica (The Black Album) - Original 1991 Double Vinyl. Vertigo Catalogue Number 5100221. First Pressing.
This is a great copy. The vinyl is in excellent condition. Under natural light it almost looks 'as new' and is very clean, having recently been cleaned at Cymbiosis in Rearsby, using a Professional Hannl record cleaner.
Under artificial light there are a few scuff marks to one of the records but playback is not affected. There's only a little surface noise during the run ins, three short clicks during the introduction of Unforgiven, and a smidge of surface noise during the quiet intro of Nothing Else Matters, but otherwise it plays and sounds great. It's a very good pressing.
The cover is in good condition, still very glossy with a only a few signs of shelf wear. The corners and spine are strong. (There is one small issue at the top left of the front cover, where the corner has taken a knock.) The vinyl been stored on proper record racks and played only a couple of times after purchase, and then again recently, after cleaning. It's been protected by a pvc cover, which I'll include in the sale. The original colour inner sleeves featuring pictures and lyrics are included and in good condition with only a little creasing, but the records are now stored in a new anti static poly-lined sleeves. Again, I'll include these in the sale.
It will be well packaged with bubble wrap, in a record mailer, and I can post out Monday to Friday, to UK buyers. This will only be listed for 30 days. Please get in touch if you want any more information. Thanks for reading.
