Description
My original listing details are below, and the album sold for £40. Unfortunately either Royal Mail or the Global Shipping Programme took zero care of the parcel with the result that both the insert and cardboard sleeve which were pristine when sold now have tears in them where the album knocked against them in transit. So I'm relisting with some photos of the damage, the listing won't allow me to upload any more, with a start price of £10. The vinyl itself is as described below, however the insert and sleeve have gone from being excellent condition to below average and certainly not reflective of how I keep and care for my vinyl.
Bought new by me, never left the house and only ever played on a quality Technics deck, my copy of Metallica's Ride The Lightning on 12" vinyl. Confirmed via a search on Discogs (screen shots attached) as a 1984 pressing. Catalogue Number is MFN 27.
Not only is the lyric inner sleeve included but so is the Official Merchandise Leaflet. The vinyl has the beige Music For Nations labels and the rear sleeve bears the "For Whom The Bells Toll" misprint.
In very good used condition, some creasing to the outer sleeve caused in storage and unavoidable finger printing on the black and yellow lyrics inner sleeve. NOTE, SINCE THE ORIGINAL LISTING OF THIS ALBUM THE POSTAL SERVICES HAVE SHAKEN IT SO MUCH THAT THERE ARE NOW TEARS ON 3 SUDES OF BOTH THE SLEEVE AND INSERT AS DESCRIBED ABOVE AT THE START OF THE LISTING DESCRIPTION
For my own and the buyers benefit I just put stylus to vinyl on it now for the first time in over 30 years. The guitar intro to Fight Fire With Fire is crystal clear, no pops or clicks, I could have been listening to the CD, yes it's THAT good.
