Description

Metallica- Ride the Lightning Vinyl LP Music For Nations 27- Beige Labels
Low starting price for a first press to reflect pops and skips mainly on side one and overall crackle between tracks and surface noise audible on both sides. 
Might suit a Metallica collector wanting an original copy rather than someone wanting perfect audio of this album! Additional rarity factor- Has misprint on back cover 'For Whom the Bells Toll'
Vinyl -Visually looks OK- does have some surface marks and small scratches Please read description of how it plays on my system and look at photos...
Side 1 Fight Fire with Fire...Lots of crackle on run in and very noticeable in quiet parts, plays through with no skips or jumps  Ride the Lightning... Few jumps and pops across first couple of mins of song and again towards end of track For Whom... regular pops for first minute then plays fine Fade to Black...Noticeable crackle on intro up to when main acoustic guitar kicks in pre verse. Track plays though fine except for a jump during solo after first verse Side 2 Trapped under Ice... Very noticeable crackle on run in- plays through fine with no skips or jumps Escape...Plays through fine except for a skip near start of track Creeping Death...Plays through fine no skips or jumps Call of Ktula...Noticeable crackle on the quiet intro and other quiet sections, plays through fine no skips or jumps
Labels - No writing, no marks anywhere on the labels, nice and clean. 
Cover - In fair/good condition, spine intact some but with obvious wear from over the years- see photos
Inner sleeve - Original lyric inner in v. good condition- no creases or rips
Item will be packed securely in cardboard record mailer.
