PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS BEING PRICED ACCORDINGLY. READ ON!

THE VINYL HAS DEFINITE SURFACE MARKS. SOME THAT ARE NON-FEELABLE AND SOME THAT ARE SLIGHTLY FEELABLE. THEY WILL CAUSE SURFACE NOISE TYPICAL WITH A VERY GOOD- GRADING. (please see photos) 

THE SURFACE MARKS DO NOT CAUSE ANY SKIPS BUT YOU WILL HEAR SURFACE NOISE AND / OR POPS & CLICKS TYPICAL WITH A VERY GOOD- GRADING.

MOST NOTEABLE IS ON SIDE 2, THERE IS A SOMEWHAT FEELABLE SCRATCH THAT SPANS THE END OF TRACK AND THE BEGINING OF TRACK 4 THAT WILL CAUSE A SLIGHT, BUT YET AUDIBLE POP. IT DOES NOT OVER POWER THE MUSIC AND CAN BE HEARD MORE DURING QUIET PASSAGES.  

THEY ACTUALLY LOOK WORSE THAN THEY SOUND. (please see pics) 

THE COVER IS ACTUALLY IN VERY GOOD SHAPE ACTUALLY IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. THERE ARE NO SPLIT SEAMS. BUT THERE ARE SOME MINOR STAINS OF AN UNKNOWN ORIGIN ON LOWER RIGHT CORNER OF THE REAR COVER. (please see pics-kind of hard to notice)

THE CUSTOM INNER LYRIC SLEEVE HAS TYPICAL WEAR WITH AGE INCLUDING CREASES, CRUMPLES, FADING, STAINING, ETC... THERE IS A SMALL SIZED SPLIT SEAM ON 2 SIDES. (please see pics) 

IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU, PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT.

Up for sale is one (1) Metallica - Ride The Lightning LP from 1984 on Elektra Records (#9 60396-1). 

This has the black & red Elektra Labels.
Features the Late Cliff Burton on Bass Guitar. 

PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME. But you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good- grading. 

The vinyl is in Very Good- condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good-grading. Even with a Very Good- grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticible during the quiet parts. 

Nice, clean labels with some spindle marks. 

The cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, ring wear, creases and crumples, etc... There are no split seams. There is some minor staining of an unknown origin on the lower right corner of the rear cover.
The custom inner sleeve is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, ring wear, small tears / fraying along the side opening, creases and crumples, etc...There is a small split seam on 2 sides.

The LP is now in a plain inner sleeve.
