READ THIS NOW. This is where I'll piss half of you off. This record is in G- shape. that means during replay occasional skips and surface noise was heard. This is not a clean copy, If you want one, go spend the $250+ ebay suggested I charge on one. I am not going to refund anyone who bitches about this. Also, I've been screwed by deadbeats. If you cant pay, don't buy it. Now that we have that out of the way.
Read here since you handled reality above so well. ;) I think this is a cool artifact alone of an original Megaforce pressing. Hell, I had no idea Metallica's fan club back then was 45 miles down the road from my place in Oregon. With that said:
-The cover is in great shape. If you need a new cover for your existing megaforce issue LP, you can't go wrong here. I grade it as VG+ with minimal ringwear, glossy shape and intact spine/edges. - The lyric sleeve shape isn't so good (G-). creases. probably some 80s crystal meth embedded in here (Im joking) - Honestly, this record does have a good amount of playability but as a record collector, I get that 7-10 skips on a record just plain out sucks. I know, I have a couple misfits 7" records that saw better days that no one would pay 2000 for.
Sorry if I was a bit curt above, I just want to sell the record and not have a massive fight with people who think turds can be polished.
