Metallica Sad But True rare mint 12" picture disc!
This is a gorgeous double sided 12" picture disc for "Sad But True". The etching on the front of the record (as seen in the photo below) shows a black snake with a grayish border taking a big bite out of Metallica, the back of the record has a great photo of the band, very dark and mysterious looking!! It comes in a nice clear hard plastic sleeve with a backing insert that also has the same photo of the band which is on the record. Neat!! Side A contains "Sad But True" and "Nothing Else Matters" (elevator version), Side B contains "Creeping Death" (live) and "Sad But True" (demo). For some reason this was an extremely limited release and very hard to find when it came out in 1993 (wow, 10 years already!!!). The back insert has a UK catalog number, METAL 1112, but the record was reported to have been made in Germany. The record is in absolutely mint condition, it has never been played or even taken out of the sleeve!! The clear plastic sleeve itself is also in perfect condition with no rips or tears along the borders. It just doesn't come any better than this!!!
