Description
A very rare pressing of Metallica's Ep on The historic Megaforce Records out of The metal state of New Jersey called Whiplash.
This record looks unplayed.
The cover is very good.
Comes from a smoke free home.
Kept in a pro logic LP case for protection for many years.
Got this from Jon Zazula, the Founder of Megaforce Records. The guy that opened his door one day to find 4 young dudes with barely a dime
In their pockets looking for a start in their career. The rest is History.
Before Jon left New Jersey last year he use to live 20 minutes down the road from me across the river from New Hope PA tucked in the hills
Of a very nice area. It's not the same place Metallica showed up to
But the last place before he had moved out of this state to Florida.
Before he had left he had a yard sale selling everything! Gold records, old records, posters, I mean everything. Stuff did not mean much to him anymore. I was able to snatch an Anthrax gold record from him but never to sell of course. It was a surprise of the history he was selling.
He told me how he use to own a record store before he got into managing and all that stuff. He was the only record store openly playing
Metal bands demo's at the time.
He was and is a good dude! Told me stories that will stay with me as a fan forever. He shook my little 8 month old daughters hand at that time.
Maybe she will be thrilled when I tell her when she gets older who knows.
Anyways, I can go on...........
Starting at a low price because I had purchased this for a good price.
Thank you!
