ITEM DESCRIPTION

Original mexican LP from 1990 press, Metallica "Ride the Lightning" still sealed, like new. Theres no way to know if this is the translucent version, but it could be. Shrink is broken on top due to time and storage.

After great success with "...And Justice For All" Polygram released all Metallica albums in 1990 except "The 5.98 EP Garage days Re-revisited.

Vinyl format in Mexico became hard to find at the end of the 80s due to the introduction of CD's and the rise of tapes, titles from 1989 to 1993 if availble, were produced in very low quantities and were very hard to find; only few specialised stores continue selling them. Mexico is probably the first country in the world to stop vinyl comercial production in 1993, after this year titles were made only for DJs or radio promos.
