A fantastic copy of the well regarded 1992 DFI pressing of Metallica’s bestselling album.
The sleeve here is VG with some handling evidence and a bump at the top of the spine. Still an attractive copy however with a mostly nice square spine and retaining a pleasing vibrancy on the front and back.
The inners show some storage wear but are not split and remain sound and VG+, approaching Excellent.
The vinyls are very clean with only very light hairlines visible under strong light and no major marks. The playing surfaces retain a vivid glossy finish and play beautifully.
The areas I’ve listened to (Nothing Else Matters, My Friend of Misery intro, Enter Sandman) all play with incredible clarity and no background whatsoever and there is nothing on the vinyl surface to suggest that the rest of the double album will play any differently - a stunning, very near Mint playback. The labels show some spindle marks but are clean and bright.
A great copy.
