Description

Up for purchase is the first ever, original 2 LP pressing of Metallica's self- titled album, also known as "The Black Album" (Elektra, 9 61113-1).

***The record is VPI CLEANED. It will be packed with bubble wrap and corrugated panels. 

***As a disclaimer, I try to be as honest as I can be in explaining the condition of the record. It is sold as is. 

I grade this record a VG+/G. Record grading is subjective. Please judge for yourself by reading the description, asking questions, and looking at the pictures. 


The Record.  

The record is VPI cleaned and in great shape. There are a few minor marks. The record has been play tested and the volume was turned up to 11. There is minimal surface noise and a very slight pop every so often. The record is an auditory pleasure.  

Sleeve. 

The sleeve appears to be water damaged. There are several cracks and other wear on the sleeve as a result. There are no seam splits. Please see pictures

Original Innersleeve. 

The original innersleeves are included with the record. They appear to have slight moisture damage, but look great. They also have slight splits on the side from use/wear.
