Description

This is part of a big auction full of rockabilly record from Checker, Decca, Imperial and several very small label.  Great stuff that doesn't come up for sale often.  Many of these are promos or have original sleeves and almost all all are in great shape.

Release: Wayne McGinnis with The Swing Teens - Rock Roll & Rhythm / Lonesome Rhythm Blues


Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1956


Notes: Original pressing of this hard to find 45.  The only single released by McGinnis and it's a great one.  Blues leaning guitar work on both tracks under McGinnis' vibrato vocal.  These are on a bunch of CD compilations and you can tell why.  Great stuff!

 

Vinyl Condition: VG, physically the vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all - no real scuffs or scratches. There is some visible hazing though. Plays and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Label has significant wear, which I believe is due to liquid exposure.  This is a great player copy, as it easily plays VG+.  Due to the cosmetic defects though, the true grade is VG.
