Description

This is part of a big auction full of 1950's blues and R&B 45's that I'm running this week. This time the last 25+ Excello records as well as several from End, Robin, Atco and some great bonus listings as always.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1956


Notes: Original black label first pressing. Early record by Thomas who would go onto release a bunch of cool records on Stax over several years. This one is more of a jump blues than his later stuff. B-side is a little more of a bluesy groover.  Good stuff.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of tiny scuffs. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice, with no writing/tearing/stickers. There is some wrinkling from a spotty factory application.  This is a really nice copy overall.


Thanks for looking and keep an eye on my store as well.  Due to vacation plans, I'm swapping out my Jazz auction to run in late Feb. I keep finding cool stuff and haven't gotten it all sorted out.  A 60's rock auction after that with a bunch of picture sleeves.
