DESCRIPTION: Metropolis- 1st self titled LP. In gatefold sleeve and with original white inner. Many more interesting and unusual Prog/Kraut/Kosmische to come in next few months. Postage cost includes box/cruciform mailer and tracking: LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Pan 87 439 IT: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1974. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: Germany: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen. Really close to visual EX, just a couple of light hairlines when tilted to light preventing this. Played passages of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays EX, possibly better. This copy sounds really clean, loud and clear. Cover is in decent shape. It is firm and square and has moderate to heavy edge wear (1" split where opening edge joins bottom edge) , corner wear and not much more than light creasing. Otherwise very clean labels have "MS" printed to one side only- just check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
