Michael Chapman Rainmaker UK Harvest SHVL 755
Stunning copy of this very rare lp.
Matrices SHVL 755 A2-G and B1-G
The record is in near mint condition. The record has been played but it is flat and very clean and shiny. Even under bright light it is difficult to see even the lightest of marks: indeed the lp looks as new. The sound is superb throughout with only the barest static crackle in the run ins and of course no pops, clicks or distortion during the music itself.
The labels are in excellent condition. They have "The Gramophone co..." text around the rim, the "Sold in UK...." text at 10 O'Clock and no boxed EMI logo indicating a first pressing. They are free from writing, rips, tears or stickers. There is a faint brown mark on side 2 that is not obvious and may be removable (I won't try). There are a couple of spindle marks indicating that the lp has been played.
The cover is in excellent condition. It is very clean and shiny and free from the ringwear. There are no major creases or edgewear but there is some wear to the spine which I have tried to show. Other than the spine wear the cover is in outstanding condition.
I'm sure that even the most exacting collector would be happy with this copy of this rare lp. Happy bidding.
