Description
This is the original issue of Michael Chapmans debut Lp from 1969. Issued on the Harvest Label. Catelogue No. SHVL 755. Comes in a gatefold sleeve with absolutely beautiful designed inner gatefold picture, as a lot of the Harvest Records were. The album is called 'Rainmaker'
I rate my albums as according to the Record Collector Guide, and if anything I under-rate them so as not to give any false impression of quality. My guide is a true honest rating as I see them.
Because Rating is subjective, I cannot offer any returns on this type of item sold.
Ratings:
Vinyl:
Side 1. rated GOOD. There are some surface marks and scratches but the Vinyl is quite clean and plays well. There is a surface mark / mild scratch that runs across the last two tracks on this side, but it is more of a mark than a deep scratch
Side 2. rated VERY GOOD. Some light scratches and surface marks but nothing too serious. Again the Vinyl is quite clean.
Inner Sleeve: is just a standard one which I think was issued with this album. Has cellophane wrapping inside it. The actual outide of the inner is stained and dirty in places.
Gatefold Cover: VERY GOOD. Is dirty more than defaced. see photo. A lot of the marks will come off with gentle cleaning. Some scuffing to the edges but only through age, and some spine split. Some creasing to the laminate but again nothing more than age.
Gatefold Inside: EXCELLENT. This is in nice condition with only slight wear and creasing due to its age.
The only defacing by pen is a name written in the top right hand corner on the rear of the sleeve, in biro. This will come off, im sure, with some gentle cleaning, as it is on laminate as well.
The album will come with a heavy duty Gatefold PVC sleeve which it has been stored in.
It will be packed securely to ensure no damage during shipping and will be dispatched within 48 hours of payment being cleared.
