On offer here is an original British MONO issue of the MICHAEL GARRICK QUINTET's “Poetry And Jazz In Concert” album on the ARGO label.  Record Two (only) of a double LP set is being offered on this eBay Auction.  The recordings within these grooves contain first class British modern jazz and poem recitals – a rather eclectic combination!  The jazz quintet features JOE HARRIOTT and SHAKE KEANE.

EX fully laminated: IMPRESSIVE appearance, minor handling wear, creasing, first signs of ring-wear, see digital photo #1.

Record:

VG++ visual: beautiful glossy sheen—HIGHLY ACCEPTABLE copy, some light hairline scuffs only; audible: just PLAYED LOUD through 100 WATT speakers and it SOUNDS GREAT overall, with some underlying surface noise more noticeable during the quieter passages (VG+ to EX, several light pops at 3-4 minute mark/side 4); labels: moderate spindle wear, sticker stain on side 3 (incorrectly labelled as side 4), see digital photo #2.  MISLABELLED > the side 4 label appears on both sides!!
