FIRST PRESSING 1991 MICHAEL JACKSON double album DANGEROUS in EXCELLENT+ to NM condition.
A UK/European pressing of Michael Jackson’s Dangerous an original 1991 first pressing.
The catalog number 1-465802 refers to the Epic Records release number, and on the actual vinyl runout groove, it begins with 01 465802 20 followed by the master and stamper codes (e.g., 9A1, 7A1, 5A1). The initial letter and number combinations in the matrix (like 9 and A) indicate the stampers and mothers used during the very first production run in late 1991.
Because it was a massive global release, multiple pressing plates and mothers were used concurrently in Europe to meet initial demand, so many early matrices like 5A1, 6A1, and 9A1 were pressed simultaneously as part of the initial release batch.
This is a 7A1 4B1 6C1 and 8D1, all first pressings from original lacquer masters.
Quite rare to be in this final upgrade condition.
