Rare US import 1st issue.
Featuring the landmark score composed and conducted by John Williams and narration by Michael Jackson.
This movie (1982, dir. Steven Spielberg) starred Dee Wallace, Peter Coyote, and Henry Thomas with supporting roles by Robert MacNaughton, Drew Barrymore, and Pat Welsh.
Comes in an 'LP'-size box with vinyl record and an approx. A2 size poster of Michael Jackson and E.T.
The original book with all the story lines and actor lines, including many pictures of the movie itself, is NOT INCLUDED in this listing. However, as a bonus, a CD-rip of this album will be included (non factory-pressed disc).
Condition VINYL: VG+. Superbly clean on visual inspection. No obvious signs of major marks or scuffs. Just one or two light hairlines. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is superb throughout. Run-ins have mild static. Very mild static and surface noise during quieter cues/fadeouts, but nothing major. Michael Jackson narration sounds superb. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A very enjoyable listen. A CD-rip of this album will be included.
INNER SLEEVE: EX. Original thick plain blue sleeve. Light creases but no stains or rips.
OUTER BOX/COVER: G+. Colours are bright, unfaded and clean. Lots of scuffing to lid edges and corners are badly damaged (especially base edges) but intact. Rubbing and scuffs to front but main artwork in decent shape. Box hinge remains attached and closes/opens without detaching. Back flipover shows slight peeling along edge and near bottom. Inside of box clean with no defects. Good overall.
POSTER: G+. Gloss paper. Clean but with a rip at bottom centre and a split in central horizontal fold. Lots of superficial creases but no stains or other defects.
