Item Description

This is the original 1980 Japanese 7" pressing of Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall" b/w "Get On The Floor," released on Epic in Japan shortly after the landmark album's debut. As a Japan-only 7" single from the Quincy Jones-produced "Off The Wall" era, this pressing is a scarce find for collectors outside Japan. This copy also comes with the original manufacturer's survey postcard insert, a fragile paper item rarely found intact on surviving copies after 45+ years, adding to its completeness and collector value.

Why Japanese Pressings?

Japanese vinyl and CD pressings are highly sought after by collectors worldwide for three key reasons: superior pressing quality with exceptionally low noise floors, strict quality control standards unique to Japanese manufacturing, and exclusive bonus tracks, OBI strips, and liner notes not found on Western releases. Owning a Japanese pressing means owning the definitive collector's edition.
