This is an original 7" 45RPM with picture sleeve, from 1983! Fun Facts About This Record: Legendary horror actor Vincent Price did the iconic spooky rap at the end of Thriller in just 2 takes! Because this was pre-digital sound libraries, the audio engineer had to get creative to make the scary sounds. The creaking door came from a real, heavy old mansion door on a Hollywood soundstage. The Howling wolves came from the sound engineer howling into his own hands. The walking on wooden planks came from a custom-built wooden platform inside Westlake Studios with Michael stepping heavily on it! Thriller was the 7th and final single released from the Thriller album. Michael became the 1st artist in history to score 7 Top 10 Billboard hits from a single album, breaking a monumental music industry record!
