LP a copertina non apribile. Rara edizione del 1982, a 3 tracce, a stampa audiophile a 45 R.P.M. contenente la versione estesa e strumentale del brano Wanna be startin’ somethin’, e quella normale di Beat it. OBI a colori, a sfondo rosso e bianco, riportante il prezzo di yen 1.200. Wanna be startin’ somethin’ è un brano composto e cantato da Michael Jackson incluso nell’ album Thriller del 1982. La canzone contiene un campionamento del brano Soul Makossa, del sassofonista Camerunese Manu Dibango del 1972. Anche il secondo brano Beat It è stato scritto e interpretato da Michael Jackson ed incluso nell’ Lp Thriller. Come singolo conquistò il Grammy di quell’ anno e la rivista Rolling Stone lo colloca al 337º posto nella lista dei migliori 500 brani di tutti i tempi. Caratterizzata da un arrangiamento ritmico (curato da Michael Jackson e da Quincy Jones) in stile hard rock, sostenuto dalla chitarra di Steve Lukather (dei Toto) che in tale brano suona anche il basso, spicca nel bridge l'assolo del chitarrista olandese Eddie van Halen.

OBI color on a red background and white, showing the price of 1200 yen. Want to be startin 'somethin' is a song composed and sung by Michael Jackson included in the 'Thriller album of 1982. The song contains a sample of the song Soul Makossa, the Cameroon saxophonist Manu Dibango of 1972. The second song "Beat It" was written and performed by Michael Jackson and included in 'LP Thriller. As an individual won a Grammy of that 'year, and Rolling Stone puts it at 337 º on the list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. Characterized by a rhythmic arrangement (edited by Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones)-style hard rock, backed by guitar Steve Lukather (Toto), which in this piece he also plays bass in the bridge stands the solo guitarist Eddie Van Dutch Halen.
