The two tracks featured on this release were the first released from MJ's 1995 album titled HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book 1. A duet with his sister Janet, Scream was Jackson's most-public attempt to get the tabloids off his back following the 1993 accusations made against him for child/sexual abuse and served as the soundtrack for an amazing music video - the most expensive one ever made - which went on to win both a Grammy and a slew of MTV VMAs. The song also was the first ever to debut in the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts.
Childhood, a solo tune written by Jackson about some of the ordeals he experienced while growing up, went on to greater fame when it became the theme song for the film Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home.
