A GREAT Michael Jackson collectible, and a must for any true fan! Search Wikipedia for "Michael Jackson ET" to learn the story of this RARE album box set, which was removed from distribution due to contractual disagreements shortly after it was released in the 1980's, and has not been commercially available since. After winning eight Grammys, Michael Jackson is reported to have said that he was most proud of the award he won for this project, in which he narrates the story of ET. Includes the LP with Michael's narration and music composed by John Williams, the story book, and a 22" square poster. The promo sticker on the outside of the shrink wrap, showing photos of the contents, is intact and in excellent condition. Notes on condition-- This box set is still sealed in the original shrink wrap. I bought this set at a retail outlet in the mid-1980's and put it away unopened. It has remained stored in climate-controlled conditions since. About 3" of the wrap is torn away in the lower right corner, and there is some minimal wear on the box corner there, and on the opposite bottom corner. I have tried to represent the box condition as well as possible. Although I believe the contents to be complete and in mint condition, I cannot make any guarantees since I have never seen them, and the item is therefore sold "as-is" with no returns. Please see my feedback.
