Description
This vintage vinyl record featuring the concertos of Paganini and Wieniawski performed by violinist Michael Rabin was recorded in 1960 and originally released by Capitol Records. This copy is a later reissue on the Seraphim label released with catalog number S-60222.
The vinyl disc is graded Excellent (EX), and the cover jacket is likewise graded Excellent (EX). The factory shrink wrap remains intact on the cover. The paper inner sleeve is torn near the center cutout. Please see the detailed photos included in this listing.

Deep pressing rings, and "14" typed on the back of the sleeve, (bottom-right). From Wikipedia... Michael Rabin (May 2, 1936 – January 19, 1972) was an American violinist. He has been described as "one of the most talented and tragic violin virtuosi of his generation". During a recital in Carnegie Hall, he suddenly lost his balance and fell forward. This was an early sign of a neurological condition which was to limit his career from then on. His death, at 35, resulted from a fall in his apartment in New York City.
I played both sides of both of this LP completely through on my audio-technica AT-LP60XBT turntable without issues. This disc plays beautifully and sound great!
