 RECORD CONDITION

Every record we offer for sale receives a very strict visual inspection under strong light.

Side One ~ No visual imperfections.

Side Two ~ No visual imperfections.

We played the entire LP to check the quality. Both sides play fine and sound great. We were probably the first one to play this record because it came from a collection of a serious audiophile who didn't seem to play most of his fine collection of LPs.

Both sides play very quiet. There are a few stray clicks and pops but nothing that will blast you out of the chair. And there is some very light and mild surface noise here and there that you might hear during a quiet passage. But all of this is normal for Capitol pressings of that era.  The music is always clear and dynamic with no distortion or fuzzy sound.

An important cornerstone for an advanced Classical LP collector from the brilliant Michael Rabin who led a young spectacular life but ultimately faced many demons and had a tragic and early death.

LABELS CONDITION

Very clean.

Spindle Hole on Side One ~ No marks or trails.

Spindle Hole on Side Two ~  No marks or trails.

The label paper on Side Two is slightly tattered on the left side of the hole and we are confident this is the way it came from the factory and not from handling.
