Description

Here is a great release on the Capitol label (PBR 8477). Michael Rabin performs Paganini's Caprice, Op. 1 for Unaccompanied Violin. Boxed double-album pressing. Rainbow rim label with FDS logo at 9 o'clock. Includes insert and original inner sleeves in VG condition. Highly sought and hard to find. This is being relisted as the previous winner failed to pay.

Condition - The box shows wear and carries library markings on face and inside. Some corners are broken. The box grades at VG-. The vinyl has some shine, but it also has many light signs of play, including many small hairline marks. One label on each record also has a library sticker on it. The records grade at VG by sight, but I listened to many tracks and they all sounded more like VG+, and many sounded better. There was some light static, ticks and crackle in some places, but it was generally low enough to not be distracting. The beginning of side 4 had a bit more noise than the other sides, but still, overall the listening grade is about VG+, but better in places.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records, discs or tapes. The highest grade I give to unsealed records, discs or tapes is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight. 1108
