Capitol SP 8510 

Original U.S. pressing.

Label has the colorband perimeter with both Capitol logo and “STEREO” at the LEFT of the spindle hole

 

Jacket is in only FAIR condition, as the bottom corner at the spine is partially chewed off.

About half of the top seam is split. Jacket also has some creasing and general wear, and an address rubber stamped at top of the back cover.

Includes the original Capitol dust sleeve insert  (which has a tiny portion of one corner worn).

 

Vinyl appears VG- (very good minus), retains blackness and shine, but shows needle scratches (mostly light, though a few on Side 2 are rather long) and sleeve-type marks.

HOWEVER, the record overall plays stronger than its appearance would suggest, and the music generally comes through nicely despite light surface noises and “ticks”.

This was recorded using a Denon DP-1200 turntable with stock tonearm and a Shure V-15 Type III MM cartridge.

The signal was fed directly from a Pro-Ject Phono Box II preamp into a Marantz component CD recorder.  The recording has NOT been “cleaned up” or “de-noised” in any way.
