*** Very Rare - Michele Auclair - Geneviève Joy - Schubert - Works for violin and piano vol . 2 ***
*** Erato - 1962 - STE . 50137 . first stéréo pressing ***
- Condition :
- Record : The two sides have some little hairlines visible on a strong light . On the side one , there is a very long scratch and two smaller, but visible. On the side two there is three noticeable scratches ( not large ) . All these marks have no incidence on the sound , there is no jump , "clicks" etc… ( I played the record entirely )
Visually the record is VG but the playing is much better than he looks .
The record play with some moderate crackling on the side one. (slightly higher at the very beginning ) Some passages are very soft and clear , we can evaluate these at EX but there is some defects will compensate this good impression. Indeed at the beginning of the side 1 ( at approximately 4 minutes ) we can hear 7 little "clicks". This is the only major defect on this side .
On the side two, the listening is the same with moderate crackling ( and quiet passages ) in the all side. At the very end of the side , ( maybe 4 second ) there is two important "clicks".
This is the only major defect on this side.
At the end , the overall impression is pretty good. The record play with moderate crackling , more important in certain passages but always compensate by clear moments. ( particularly on the side 1 )
For the entire listening , the record is VG + .
