Description

Yvonne Denis.   Showcase Inc. 001.   "Ain't No Sunshine"/"Black & Proud".   Strong VG /plays great!

Here is another mega rare 45 from Wichita, Kansas.  This time the label reads "Showcase Inc. Records presents Black Kansas Colonel Chet Fisher of Herrington, Kansas.  The A-side features Mr. Fisher with some spoken word "black power" type rap over what is obviously The Chocolate Snow backing him up.  Nice crisp drums, and organ work.  The B-side faetures the lovely Yvonne Denis and her tight funky version of the Bill Withers classic, and she is backed by The Chocolate Snow as well.  Another unknown midwest funk bomb, please call in for a spin.
