Description

Blue Note 5052, original 10" L.P. Titled: "New Sounds From Olde England". The record has 767 Lexington Ave. address on both labels.  6 tracks recorded in England.  The group was assembled by the Melody Maker magazine's editor, Mike Nevard in1954. The group includes Albert Hall, trumpet; Harry Klein, baritone sax; John Dankworth (listed as:"King John I), alto sax; Don Rendell, tenor sax; Ralph Dollimore; piano; Johnny Hawksworth, bass; David Murray, Allan Ganley, drums. 6 tracks. Very rare.

Cover:  VG   6" split on the bottom edge. Clean with light aging and some light wear from ordinary handling.  Slight a paper loss from an old price sticker near the upper insert edge corner of the front cover.

Record:   VG++ to Mint(-)   Played several times with a few extremely light, short, surface rub marks.  These are barely visible  Some discoloration spots on the vinyl.  Neither of these conditions affect the sound.  On Side 1, 1 click on Track 2.  On Side 2, 2 faint clicks and 1 more audible click near the end of Track 3. Fine overall condition. Collectable quality. Audibly checked.
