Description
MIKE OLDFIELD- INCANTATIONS SIGNED EDITION DOUBLE LP VINYL
This is the "SIGNED" VINYL LP.NUMBER 467 OF ONLY 500.
Incantations, originally released in November 1978 was Oldfield’s first and only studio double album. Comprising of four parts of the title track, it was a masterpiece of minimalism, with Oldfield again playing many of the instruments, with old friends including David Bedford conducting the choir and orchestra, Pierre Moerlen on drums and Mike’s sister Sally on vocals.
This is a collectable item which sold out very quickly when originally sold by Universal and was limited to 500 worldwide. .
The set consists of the double lp, inside is an album sized card of the orignal Incantations cover, signed by Mike in black pen and numbered 647 or 500. Also there is a spare record which was sent as a resplacement shortly after the release due to an error on heard on side four for all versions of this release, CD and Vinyl - see the Wiki page for Incantations for details. So you get 3 albums altogether, albeit one of them is meant to replace side 3/4.
The album is as new, never played however I did remove the shinkwrap to be able to take photos and also see what the signature card looked like and what the number was. It is in perfect condition.
Postage: within UK will be sent via courier and will need signing for.
International postage available - please get in touch for pricing
