Mike Oldfield ORIG UK QUAD 4LP Box Set Boxed NM ’76 VBOX1 Prog Rock
Original UK Quadraphonic 4LP Box set released in 1976 on Virgin Records. Cat: VBOX1. Comes with 1 page colour booklet that has some light age spots and is in VG+ condition. Also has four individually coloured inner bags which are in Excellent condition.Composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Mike Oldfield rose to global fame on the success of Tubular Bells, an eerie, album-length conceptual piece employed to stunning effect in William Friedkin's 1973 film The Exorcist; it has since sold some 15 million copies and become an indelible entry in the history of popular instrumental music. Oldfield enjoys a special place in pop history not only for his most famous composition, but as a bridge between prog-rock, new age, mainstream pop, and cinematic music.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Records are in Near MInt condition. Box has two small sticker stains on front, some tiny surface tears and marks around edges and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
