Description
Very rare first (1st) pressing copy of Mike Oldfield's album Platinum.
Matrix numbers V2141-A1 / -B1 therefore featuring the deleted track Sally.
Later copies replaced this track with Into Wonderland, though Sally remains on the artwork.
I would describe the condition of the disc as excellent, deep and glossy with no scratches and only barely noticeable rare surface marks I think from sliding in and out of the quite thick inner sleeve. I have play tested this and there is very little lessening in sound quality, if any, with only the faintest of noise even on quiet passages.
Inner sleeve is excellent to mint condition, and the outer sleeve i'd say is very good+, there are some rubs to spine and a couple of minor creases about half an inch extending to front cover. Please note that the covers remained the same on all versions so you could easily mint up on this - personally I like to know this package was 'as produced'!
