Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Mike Oldfield - The songs of distant Earth - RARE Original Vinyl LP album 1994.
Has the embossed Warner logo on the back.
Vinyl Condition: G/VG (Some light surface marks, light scratches and scuffs but is in good condition and plays well. There are some loud intermittent crackly sounds at the start of side 1. I think this could be down to the pressing. It soon clears up though after around a minute. Overall the record plays well. There is some surface crackle and some clicks and pops in places. There is the odd loud pop but no sticks or jumps. Overall a good listen and a vert rare record).
Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Original inner sleeve has a lot of yellow foxing marks/spotting but is otherwise ok).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Some light edge and corner wear & creasing. Some minor marks in places but overall good condition).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
Cheers and happy bidding.
