Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Mike Oldfield - The Songs of Distant Earth - RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1994.
RARE Original Pressing from 1994.
Made in Germany.
PLEASE NOTE: This will NOT suit fussy collectors.
Vinyl Condition: G (Visually the record has a lot of light surface marks and a lot of light hairlines and some light scratches in places. However the record plays great with very nice sound. There are light clicks and pops in places but no sticks or jumps. There are a couple of loud clicks and pops in places and there is some surface noise but overall a very enjoyable listen. Overall lots of light marks but plays great. Great album and a pleasure to listen to).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG
Outer Sleeve Condition: Fair (Sleeve is a bit banged up. It has some heavy edge and corner wear. Lots of edge and corner creases and creases to the top and bottom edge. There is rubbing to the front and back sleeve faces and sone signs of ringwear. Edges and corners are heavily worn. There are some nicks and small tears in places. Overall sleeve is looking a bit tatty but is intact).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
Cheers and happy bidding.
