Description

A 1st issue from spring 1973 without colour on the labels. Well worth going for the early copies as they were pre-oil crisis and pressed on solid vinyl, unlike the vast majority of copies you see on the open market. Matrix A2U/B3U - EMI Pressing. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue cover easily distinguishable because they were FULLY laminated and printed by E J Day on much heavier card stock. We also have an original BLACK VIRGIN inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+) In great condition and has only seen light to moderate use. A prodigiously fussy record to track down in great condition. This copy has a couple of very lightest marks per side, and one small semi-feelable mark which does sound [see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback with one noticeable deviation. You will detect some background in certain sections here and there. Don't be expecting a fully clean rendition - it will not deliver that. A great rendition for the most part. The mark mentioned above does cause ten ticks or so midway through side 1. If you can live with that one issue there's little else to turn your nose up at.
Cover (Ex) Beautifully preserved and the original copies are much much nicer product than copies just six months later. Clean and flat surfaces front and rear. Hardly any edge wear and nice sharp firm openings. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A super specimen.
Inner (Ex) No splits. Bag present. AOK.
