Description
Mike Oldfield's iconic album Tubular Bells was a mega hit in its day. This very rare pressing is a beautiful 12 inch picture disc. It does have a cut-out hole in the upper right corner of the album sleeve, but all else is in otherwise in perfect condition. The disc has never played. This album is quite unique in that Mike Oldfield pays virtually every instrument from electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, and organ. It is one of the most famous albums of 1973.
Picture disc quality, of course, is often not quite as good as standard recordings. However, these albums are primarily designed for viewing and displaying. The entire original album her and is very playable.
I am not a record dealer. All my listings are from my own personal collection. I purchased this picture disc about 44 years ago.
