Description
You are bidding on an LP. Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells, excellent/near mint cover and near mint vinyl (see notes below). The item will be well packaged in a record mailer with 2 stiffeners (the vinyl removed and placed in a white paper sleeve to prevent seam splits) and sent immediately upon payment. First Class postage in the UK, 'Standard International' to other destinations (see below). This item is from my own personal collection. I have tried to be as honest as I can about its condition but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Please read all the descriptions and P&P charges before bidding.
This is the original black and white virgin label 'Two Virgins' release from 1973 of Mike Oldfield's 'Tubular Bells' LP. This album is in excellent/near mint all round condition. The cover has a lovely high gloss sheen front and back. The album is virtually unmarked and plays back with hardly any background noise. An excellent vinyl copy, rare to find in this condition.
Album Cover notes:
Front and back covers are in excellent/near mint condition. Nice gloss sheen.
No writing on cover or labels
No fraying on edges of cover
Spine undamaged
Vinyl notes:
I have played this album back in it's entirety at a reasonably loud volume on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones to evaluate its condition.
Matrix numbers:
V 2001 A-2U
V 2001 B-3U
A-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback
B-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback
In general the vinyl is in near mint condition. It looks very clean and virtually unmarked. Near perfect playback.
I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling. I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.
If you have any doubts or questions about this record, please ask me and I will try to be as helpful as I can.
