Description
I am lucky to have been able to collect many John Surman records and,have managed to get these signed for me over the years whilst aquiring other signed examples via third parties.. In fact, now I work as a sound engineer for John Surman and, lacking space, and being lucky enough to experience the music at close hand, has led me to part with these records along with other vinyl.
This copy of Celebration features JS on Baritone and Soprano saxes and Bass clarinet, his usual triumvirate.
I am using the record collector guide to condition and have played and inspected this recently.
The vinyl is in very good/good condition and the sleeve is in good/very good condition although the glue has come unstuck along the first 4 1/2 inches at the top (where the Deram label is), John signed this record over his picture on the back. You can see a slight impression of the record at the back and the front of the cover - see pictures.
I am purposefully erring on the side of caution when grading these records.
