An incredibly rare LP from a legend of the Austin, TX music scene.

Mike Williams -- "Free Man Happy Man" LP (1977) --B.F. Deal (BFD 6) -- played once or twice and then stored away for more than  two decades.

Blue Skies and Teardrops Wichita Falls Waltz Free Man, Happy Man Country Beautiful The Drifter and the Rodeo Queen New Rose of San Antone Catch Another Butterfly Wednesday Morning West Texas Blues Be There in the Morning Back when Nanci was first starting out in the Austin music scene, she met up with a man named Mike Williams. Mike Williams produced her earliest recordings for the B. F. Deal record label, and she sang backing vocals for him on a couple of his albums.

This album contains a song that Nanci has sung over the years -- "Wichita Falls Waltz." This is the song that closes the One Fair Summer Evening video (although Nanci's version on the video is an abridged version of the original).
