Description
This vinyl LP features the legendary Miles Davis with his 1957 album "Miles Ahead". The 12" record is a first pressing in black color and has a catalogue number of CL 1041. The LP is in the format of a record with a speed of 33 RPM and is released under the Columbia record label. The album is a hard bop jazz genre and is from the 1950s era. The sleeve grading is very good plus (VG+) and the record grading is also very good plus (VG+). The LP is a United States product and has a mono number of audio channels. This record is perfect for any jazz enthusiast or vinyl record collectors.
1957 1st press MONO on Columbia cat # CL 1041 This features a Columbia 6 eye label and the cover is known as the "Sailboat Cover" which Miles Davis objected to and was subsequently replaced in later pressings.

The vinyl is VG+. It does have some superficial scratches but plays good without skips just the normal hisses a record of this age normally has.
The jacket is more between VG and VG+. It has an owners address label on the front and back cover - see pictures.
There is some aged patina on the back cover. But it has held up will with not splits.
