MEGA RARE JAPANESE PRESSING of this legendary later Miles album from his insane electric period - the last to come out before his self-imposed exile. This album came from the afternoon show at Osaka, Japan and is just what you'd expect from this period - funky, dirty and great! This is the second Japanese pressing from 1980 - still very rare and hard to find especially COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL INTACT OBI STRIP, BOOKLET AND UNIQUE INSERT! The Japanese pressings are the most desirable as the quality of the pressings is as good as you can get and also this is the original sleeve design as approved by Miles, not the design used for the US pressings. One of the booklets is also unique to this 1980 pressing, celebrating Miles' 25 year anniversary with CBS. This one is in great shape! You will be not be disappointed! Don't miss out!
Both discs are in VG++ to EX condition : a few light marks, all sides play with some surface noise during the run-in but once the grooves kick in they sound great! Very loud and powerful pressings (like I say - these Japanese pressings are the best you can get)
Gatefold sleeve is in EX condition : very light wear, light corner wear, edges are great, spine has light wear but still legible, front, back and inside all look great
Booklet is in EX condition : light handling creases, in lovely shape overall (5th and 6th pics are taken from the booklet)
Silver anniversary insert is in EX+ condition : in lovely shape, almost good as new
Obi strip is in EX(+) condition : in lovely shape, almost good as new, still attached to the sleeve, top (with Miles Davis lettering) has a little rippling but other than this it is lovely
Polythene paper-backed CBS/Sony inner sleeves are in EX condition : both have handling creases but all intact and look great
